Co-founders of the Social Teahouse in Varna, Stoyana Stoeva and Maya Doneva will be showcasing their unique project, which was awarded the Best Business Plan of a Social Enterprise in 2017 Award by the Bulgarian Centre for Nonprofit Law and by local business incubator Reach for Change Bulgaria.

The entrepreneurs are also the co-authors of the bid book of Varna to the 2017 European Youth Capital Programme, and in a joint project with the PONT Group from Cluj, they are here to talk about their experiences, and to present the social entrepreneurship guidebook entitled How to Start a Social Startup? on how to transform young people’s ideas into sustainable social businesses.

About the project:
In the year of the European Youth Capital Program in Varna, where the main focus is on social innovation, the project will provide a flexible system of indicators, advice and methods through which the ideas of young people can be tested and turned into sustainable social businesses. The project brings together the expertise of the Social Teahouse in social entrepreneurship with the expertise of PONT Group in strategic planning and development of youth policy, education, training and community activities in order to stimulate the development of the social entrepreneurial ecosystem through the provision of specific instruments and methods to test out and further develop business ideas.
